According to the Guardian, more and more teenage girls are seeking referrals to gender clinics. Why do you believe that girls are more susceptible to these new social ideologies? Especially those dealing with the self and identity.

I think young girls are more susceptible because of how traumatic the transition to womanhood can be for some girls. Speaking from my own experience over 25 years ago…I remember that day. I remember crying to my mother…begging her to get me a hysterectomy. Anything, just to stop menstruating. Didn’t help that my prude of a mother didn’t prepare me for this day. And let’s not forget the change in hormones and how much that can mess up a young woman. I think as a society, we have always done young women a disservice when it comes to better understanding the transition and having resources to go to in order to address concerns related to that transition. Well when there is a gap…something is bound to fill it. And this “panacea” is doing just that.
